Helen Vilenski, MA, RP, is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists  of Ontario(CRPO). She has spent the past 25 years helping people who struggle with depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, addictions and low self-esteem make meaningful connections between events of the past and current feelings, thoughts and behaviors. She guides her clients to craft mindful solutions and to develop new, growth-oriented thought processes. Prior to opening her private practice in 2014, Helen worked for 13 years at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH)- a WHO Centre of Excellence.  Helen has a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology and has completed Post Grad Certificates in Trauma, CBT and EMDR (Eye Movement Rapid Desensitization and Reprocessing) as well as some courses in Pain Management.  She matches your presenting concerns to  Best Practice interventions (eg CBT, EMDR, DBT) to help you come up with a treatment plan that best addresses your needs and therapy budget  . Her greatest strengths are the meaningful and lasting connections she makes with her clients,  her thirst for new knowledge that merges  the art of traditional therapy with brain science,  and her tailor-made interventions.  She feels privileged to be part of her client's healing, discovery and growth. At this time therapy is both in-person and online.
